Rules for playing Odd One Out
Version 1 · Last updated 20 September 2026
There is zero tolerance for abusive content or abusive behaviour.
By playing you agree not to post content that is hateful, harassing, threatening,
sexually explicit, or that targets anyone for who they are. Accounts and players
who do are removed. Reports are reviewed and acted on within 24 hours.
What you agree to
- No hate speech, slurs, or content that attacks people for their race, ethnicity, nationality, religion, gender, sexual orientation, disability, or age.
- No harassment, bullying, threats, or encouraging anyone to harm themselves.
- No sexually explicit content, and nothing sexualising anyone under 18.
- No impersonating another person.
- No sharing anyone's private information.
- Keep names, chat, direct messages, tasks and recordings suitable for the room you are in.
What happens if you break them
- Names, chat, direct messages and typed tasks are filtered automatically. Blocked words are replaced before anyone sees them, and a name that contains one is refused.
- Any player can report another player, from the chat or direct-message screen. Reports reach the developer immediately.
- Any player can block another player. Blocking stops their direct messages in both directions and hides their chat from you.
- Whoever started the game can remove a player from it at any time.
- The developer can remove any player and does so within 24 hours of a report that warrants it.
Recordings
The game asks you to record short video clips on your phone. They are sent to the
game server, played back on the TV during that game, and deleted when the game ends —
at the latest 24 hours later. Do not record anything you would not want the people in
the room to see, and do not record anyone who has not agreed to it.
Age
You must be 13 or older to play.
The game itself
Odd One Out is provided as is, with no warranty. It is a party game; it is not
reliable software for anything that matters. It can be unavailable, lose a game in
progress, or change without notice.
